I have personally memorized
• the names of 100 people that I've just met.
• hundreds of birthdays of celebrities.
• Pi to the 400th decimal place.
• 60 phone numbers of people that I'd never met.
• the entire calendar since 1900
Of course, the things that you need to memorize will probably be more practical than that list of items. But the point is that if I can learn how to memorize a random string of digits, then I can teach you how to remember whatever important information that you need.
